Responsible Gambling
The Everest group of gaming destinations is committed to safe, enjoyable online
entertainment. However, we recognize that a minority of casino players
can develop unhealthy casino gambling habits. While problem gambling is
not easily detected, we have implemented a number of measures to help
address the problem:
* Our rigorous training program helps staff members identify
signs of compulsive gambling and teaches them how to take appropriate
action.
* We set reasonable table limits on all our casino games to minimize the adverse
financial effects of compulsive casino gambling.
* We have sophisticated data analysis techniques to spot casino gaming behavior
consistent with problem casino gambling.
* We have a policy to ban casino players who identify themselves as problem
gamblers.
Thus, when casino players recognize they have a gambling problem
and ask us for help, we will:
o Prevent them from re-entering the casino by closing their casino account,
deleting their password and disabling their login name;
o Return any money for chips they have on hand;
o Mark their payment methods as void so they can't open a new casino account
under another name;
o Remove their name from our mailing list and casino promotional database;
o Give them information about compulsive gambling assistance programs such
as Gamblers Anonymous. (see list)
To keep online casino gaming a fun, entertaining form of recreation,
we urge all of our casino players to:
* Establish what constitutes an acceptable loss before starting
to play casino games for real money.
* Never wager with real money if:
o They are younger than the legal gambling age;
o It interferes with work or other responsibilities;
o They are in recovery for addictive disorders or dependencies;
o They are under the influence of alcohol or other substances;
o They are attempting to make up for prior gaming losses.
* Make sure casino gaming is something they want to do, rather than need to
do.
* Stop playing when it stops being fun.
We strongly recommend that casino players who feel compelled
to gamble seek professional help from any of the following organizations.
